purpose to recognize and reward the hard work and dedication of our store teams when monthly sales targets are achieved, fostering a positive and motivated work environment overview when a store meets or exceeds its monthly sales target, the store manager will be allocated a budget of $150 $250 based on the number of staff to treat their team, which is added to your monthly budget ($2000 + $200 = $2200 is your new stores monthly budget for the following month only ) this budget is designed to celebrate success, strengthen team morale, and show appreciation for the teamβs efforts on average, this budget translates to approximately $25 per staff member , though allocation can vary based on team size distribution of this bonus can be based of off hours worked, and may not directly work out to $25 each per staff member team members must be actively employed to be eligible to receive their incentive if you are terminated or resign prior to the end of the month, you will not be eligible to receive the incentive guidelines for spending eligible uses of funds managers may allocate the funds towards team building or appreciation activities examples include meals and snacks team lunches or dinners at local restaurants catering in store for a celebratory meal coffee and pastry runs for the team gift cards small gift cards for popular stores, coffee shops, or online platforms or store purchases! team bonding activities escape rooms, bowling nights, or other local group activities movie tickets for the team practical treats customized team merchandise (e g , mugs, t shirts) wellness related treats like aromatherapy kits or spa vouchers approval process managers must ensure the spending aligns with the budget managers must let their dm know in advance what their monthly plan is restrictions funds cannot be used for personal expenses or items not benefiting the entire team general 'illegal or gov restricted substances are not permitted' ex cannabis, alcohol, fireworks, etc timing the reward budget must be used within 30 days following the end of the month in which the target was achieved procedure dm confirm that the store met or exceeded its monthly sales targets on their store scorecard dm notify accounting & store manager of the allotted budget accounting adds the amount to the monthly budget manager plan a suitable team activity or treat within the allocated budget manager send a message to your district managers with the plan or request for approval if the activity/treat is not listed in the above examples manager collect and retain receipts for all purchases made with the incentive funds email to accounting\@shopmakers ca mailto\ accounting\@shopmakers ca and add a brief report of the activity or spending to the district manager in the monthly store budget document this policy is designed to reward team efforts and create a sense of accomplishment for achieving sales goals we encourage managers to be creative and thoughtful in choosing activities that resonate with their team and contribute to a positive and engaging work environment
